I think what I really need is a G6DS-specific solution, like a patch for the game. Using alternate firmwares really isn't an option as I've yet to find one that works on my card.

Pretty much, but even if I did have the money I'm not sure I'd want to shell out for a new card just to play one game.

So has anyone with a G6 got this to work?

Tested on several microSD speeds and I found no difference in load from before and now.
I think it might just be your card

Still can't save Star Trek Tactical Assault games using Sakura. Hangs
Save fine using YsMenu 6.42 for M3.
Finally run GS - DD though I don't want to start over to play it on my M3DS Real.
Think I'll try R4i RTS software on my M3.

If you use YSM3 from either Retor's files or The M3 Quad-Boot (which I am updating now) the AP was addressed.

i have a rather general question reading all this:
i understand that an update to the flash card is necessary whenever nintendo changes something in their dsi that prevents the cards from working.

1. but what is it with these game related updates? what exactly do they do? i thought the flash card makes the dsi think that it runs original roms, so how is it possible that this works with some games and not with others?

2. and what is the nature of these game compatibility updates? do they fix flaws in the flash card firmware to make them look more perfectly like original game cartridges? or do they really have long lists of games and do some on the fly patching once an image is identified as a known incompatible game?

Anyone successfully got Toy Story 3 to work on an M3i Zero / DS Real? Tried the latest firmware M3G6_DS_Real_v4.9a_M74_Multi still the A button doesn work when you get to Andy's room. I've tried loads of different ROMs decrypted ones etc. Anyone able to help me get this working?
