Is it safe to install the System Config Tool ('prettier banners' version) on USB for use with Mocha sysNAND? I keep seeing conflicting info everywhere, some people saying that it bricks or hangs the system, others saying it's fine as long as it's the 'safely packed' version. (I know I can't ASK for a safe version, since it's SDK material and copyrighted.)

I know WUP Installer exists, but I want SCT so I can also be able to launch titles with downgraded updates- I can't find any homebrew app capable of this.

I'm pretty sure it's safe to install. However there are a lot of options in the app that can brick you so be careful what you do with it.

Stay away from Sys Config Tool, there are better options such Wup Installer GX2 and Woomïnstaller (vanilla or GX2 version). I recomment you Woomïnataller GX2 since it supports folder browsing just like SCT.
