Sysnand and Emunand

I've been out of the 3ds CFW scene since about 2016. Back then we were using Emunands to stay up to date. From what I've read I take it that is not the case anymore. Are most folks running everything from sysnand with the newest Luma3ds 12.0.1? Also if I updated my Luma to 12.0.1 can I just update my sysnand and stop using Emunands?

Yup, there's not really any reason for a regular user to use EmuNand/RedNand anymore. Here's a guide to moving from EmuNand to SysNand. There's also this guide: Checking for CFW, since there are some extra steps depending on how old your installation is.
