Hacking Syscheck freezes on 'Testing IOS28 Vulnerabilities'

Hello I need help here,

I have a modded wii version 4.1U, Its been so long i did not boot up my wii and now I am trying to remod/rehack it and update all the necessary ios.

So before I want to update it using ModMii, i decided to use the latest syscheckHDE to extract the csv file. However, it keeps on freezing when it is testing IOS28 for vulnerabilities.

I reset my wii several times, still stucked and froze at the same IOS. Is there any workaround for this method or is it safe for me just to rehack my wii?

There's a troubleshooting section in the syscheck guide (in my signature) specifically written to fix your issue.
you can skip problematic IOS slots by editing the meta.xml.

Cyan's suggestion works and is pretty neat, I actually didn't know you could bypass problematic IOSs like that so I'm happy to have learned that today.

That being said, you also asked if it's safe to just rehack your wii using ModMii, and the answer is yes, it will overwrite older mods
