Hardware SXOS HDD light flashing, USB Hub fix?

Hi all,

I have a Switch with SXOS. As most of you know who use SX, the HDD light flashes while the console is off. I think I read that someone on here had set up a USB hub and it made the HDD power down when the Switch was off. Anyone have a clue on this? Maybe a powered hub with a switch on it? or Just any hub that will work to shut off the HD when powered off. I would greatly appreciate it!

I don't need any opinions on SX. I don't care if you don't like the software, politics, TX, your mom or anything else. Keep it to yourself. Let's find an option so I can stop unplugging my HDD every time I shut down the Switch!

this might work, obviously you need to get one with the correct type of USB connector that your HDD has, or use it to extend the cable your already using.

also beware some don't have the data lines connected so they cant be used.

I'm not sure which board it was but someone said that there powered USB hub turned off with the switch. It also made the USB hard drive turn off. I'll think about something manual but I'd like something automatic if possible

I bought a HUB with switches on it. I am looking for an automatic solution that I don't need to flip switches.. Thanks though!
