Hey everyone,

has anyone of you recently upgraded the firmware of your Emunand to 8.1? I am currently running 7.1.0 and am very happy with how stable it is(SX OS 2.6.2). I read about people who upgraded to 8.1 and had to reinstall almost every game because of some sort of corruption - has it happened to you recently?

Other than that the only thing I would need to do is to place the latest SX OS 2.8 on my sdcard, launch ChoidDujourNX and update to 8.1 right? Nothing else to worry about or did I miss something?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Have a wonderful day

Update to 8.1.0 with exFAT support if your micro sd is formatted to exFAT.
Yes, simply replace the latest SX OS release and update to 8.1.0.
Some people had to reinstall games, yes. In the end you have to update sooner or later to a new firmware if you want to play the latest games.

I upgraded 3 switches to 8.1 SX OS 2.8 Emunand, all went smoothly and none required reinstall of games. Chose exfat version even though I use FAT32 on all 3.

Big thanks to both of you - I just successfully upgraded to 8.1, it all went smooth. Every thing is working as it should and it seems like all the games start as always, I am really happy :)

The contacts are there, and the device already has charge control circuitry, but you have to buy and solder the battery yourself.
