I couldn't care less for your opinion, pal. If you do so many bad things for so many years, don't expect decent people to feel sorry for you when you get what you deserve.
I'm perfectly fine, champ. I use Hekate and dual-boot into either SXOS or Atmosphere. The price for the license has resulted in significant value, even if it never receives another update. Luckily, I've got a v1, so I'm good if it never does again. I can't say the same for those with Mariko and Lite units if another updates never comes (and I think updates will likely still come, just after a wait). Those folks were provided a solution as a result of a pay-for hack - and right now, they're the only show in town. So, and I'll say it again, no one wins with less choice, however distasteful you or I find the competition.
Also, a bit of a note. Believe me or don't, but it's been true since I've reached the point in my career to more than afford my games, more than 20 years now, I haven't pirated a single game on either the Switch or the 3DS (or any modern system for that matter). I use the hacks for, first and foremost, not needing to carry a pile of games when I travel for business (for non-digital purchases, which is most since I don't like Nintendo's online policies), single-player
cheats (especially since I've got a nephew that we care for that has disabilities), save modifications, and Emunand (so no one accidentally goes online). That said, I pirate some games for discontinued systems that are no longer easily accessible, such as for the Gamecube or PSP.
