Yo, I already have sys-clk on my system. Do I just need the configured loader.kip file and the added line in Hekate? I saw on the old Switch-OC-Suite something that looked like you just needed to set the memory to 1600 in the sys-clk config file and the loader.kip patch would take care of actually changing that to 1862.

Or do I need sys-clk-oc instead?

Just wanted to make sure before I try anything.

sys-clk is already included in SdOut.zip

One more question, sorry! I'm assuming I already know the answer but just want confirmation. This won't work on AMS 1.5.4, correct? At least, not until you update it. Wanting to use some mods for Tears of the Kingdom but I'd definitely rather have the smooth performance. Thanks for your work in maintaining this :)

It might work, I don't know. You can try and see if it works. i'm not going to build for prelease.
I will update when 1.5.4 comes out

I replaced thermal paste for the first time on my 2017 model today. Temps seem to max out at 63c on 60% fan speed on my light OC. What kind of temps are you getting?

I'm losing my mind trying to get this working on Erista, with a fresh update of 1.5.3/16.03. sys-clk will break after installing the OC Suite, with the error message "sys-clk does not seem to be running, plase check that it is correctly installed and enabled." But if I uninstall and reinstall sys-clk via the HB Store, the unmodified version of sys-clk works just fine. I'm having a very, very difficult time figuring out what I could be missing.

sys-clk-oc just modifies sys-clk without really changing anything else, right? It doesn't create a separate sys-clk app entry that I should be using, does it?

did you copy "everything" in SdOut.zip?
I think you did not copy config folder

Thanks for the lightning-quick reply. I did, and manually verified the presence of sys-clk-oc and its files. On top of that, I also performed the install via AIO several times, just for good measure. Also ensured I added the required kips1 line to the emuMMC boot entry in hekate's ini.

I do seem to have two icons for sys-clk--one for the older 1.01 install I had, and one for the 1.03 install I got from the HB Store. The old one wasn't deleted when updating, so I don't know whether that could have anything to do with it. Either way they should both lead to the same /contents/ folder, right? When updating to 16.03 via Daybreak, I did disable whatever sysmodule flags for safety, but I assume that just means those modules need be reinstalled, since vanilla sys-clk is working.

Seems like it isn't generating a config. It's supposed to generate one, right? Since there isn't an actual config.ini in the SdOut zip.

The one thing AIO can't do, it seems, is add the proper line to hekate's config file, as described in the install guide. I'm pretty sure that AIO can take care of the rest once you've done that.

yeah seems like sys-clk sysmodule is not being started at all.
sometimes the easiest solution is to do a fresh atmosphere install rather than dig for hours for solution
edit: wait i misread. see if copying config.ini from sys-clk to sys-clk-oc works. Lemme check if it is bug in latest release
@Chop1n yeah checked and config.ini being created fine for me. if manually creating config.ini does not work, something must have been messed up, so fresh install might be good

manual install or aio, they are same thing, but I added aio option so that users can update conveniently,
but manual way is favored because for customization you need pc anyways

Hey guys I have been trying for a couple hours now to get this working to no avail, I am on AMS 15.3 and have tried AIO install, manual and both legacy and non legacy but after the atmosphere logo pops up my switch black screens everytime. Any help?

Is it anyway possible to OC the Ram to 1996 Mhz on my Erista with OC suite? I heard it is safe, if someone can help I would really appreciate it!

Overclock away, if it shuts down, they got to warm. Again, the Switch got a lot of protection for this

    It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.

    There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

    But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".

    Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
