That is fine. Majority of homebrew applications function perfectly fine in applet mode. The predecessor of this app, Awoo Installer, has always run great in applet mode for me.im in applet mode yet i dont have any running game
Yes. I've been doing it since before there was even a notification about applet mode.so you are saying that i can install games in applet mode?
That makes sense, then I can make a nand backup of current emuMMC if I ever really need it, but otherwise just dump it and I'm good, yeah?I'd say unlink your console online, then delete your emunand from the switch, let the new user setup his/her own emunand.
Hey, I was wondering what most people recommend as far as 11.0.1 issues go. I haven't messed with my switch for a while, so I decided to update to 11.0.1 without realizing that's a bad idea right now. My screen goes black after clicking on boot cfw. I use sx os by the way. Is there anything else that will work with the newest firmware? I read atmosphere will but I'm not sure how to switch. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
No you should stay on FAT32 always. Use a PC usb to switch homebrew like Tinfoil, AWoo, Goldleaf, etc to install from Pc. I prefer Goldleaf.hey how can I install games bigger games than 4gb , should i format sd card to exfat? (rn fat32)
Always put nro files in SD: Switch folderwhere do I put nro file?
Try launching with Fusee-Primary? When in Hekate menu, goto payloads n select Fusee-Primary.Hi quick question. I cannot launch CFW SYSNAND.
Latest firmware, atmosphere, hekate. Renamed hekate's bin to reboot_to_payload.bin. I can safely boot emunand and stock switch. But not CFW SYSNAND
It shows the atmosphere logo, and then the Nintendo Switch logo, then I get the blue atmosphere panic handler crash
Then i would re-install your Atmosphere, or make sure Fusee-Primary.bin is in this folder: SD\bootloader\payloadsIt only shows Tegra Explorer and Lockpick RCM
Don't pick the "CFW Sysnand" on hekate screen, goto "Payloads" on screen instead and select "Fusee-Primary", If your Atmosphere files are correct, it should show in payloads.I reinstalled atmosphere, including the hekate reboot payload to just the normal atmosphere and what happened is that I got the same crash, a tapped the power off, then I got the blue atmosphere logo and then it booted emunand despite selecting cfw sysnand
Isn't that what you want, CFW w emunand, then Stock OFW on sysnand? This is what's best to help prevent Ban if playing online w CFW. I'd still use incognito and/or 90dns to block nintendy servers tho. So if you have orig backup of your Nand, Boot0/1, you can always go back and restore your sysnand if needed. No crash, but it forced emunand
What I´ve done:
-Copied recent ReinNX to the sd card
-Copied recent ChoiDujourNX to the sd card
-Extracted OFW 8.1.0 and copied to sd card
-Powered off Switch
-Powered on Switch and injected ReiNX 2.4 payload
-Entered homebrew, launched ChoiDujourNX and installed OFW successfully -> Rebooted Switch
-Inject ReiNX 2.4 payload
Successfully updated to 8.1.0
thanks for the great support here!
