Hi !
I'm here with a really random question : I've a CFW'd Switch, works fine. My only issue is that I have to check folders in my SD Card (screens / videos / checkpoint stuff) pretty often but I don't want to turn off my switch all the time and re-inject all the time.

I'm using airplane mode so no FTP.

Is there any way to read my sd card as mounted on my pc ?

Thanks o/

Hey Draxzelex, was wondering if you could help me a bit.

I got a switch on Atmosphere for over a year now, I stillk have my first backup before I installed anything, what do I need to follow to clean my switch and install emumcc so I can play online and access eshop on a legal partition?

Thank you

I have all of my games in nsp, nsz, and xci formats. do some games only work in one of those formats or should all games work? I'm quickly running out of space on my hdd, so I don't know if I can keep files in all three formats at the same time.

Possibly dealing with an older HDD that simply gave out, unrelated to my switch. But I find the timing and circumstances odd.

I attempted to load a Pokémon sword XCI from my 2.8 SX OS games list and I got a firmware update required pop up (Im on 8.1.0 currently). I then went into 1.4 SX installer and found the xci there and Didn’t install the game but just clicked launch. Somehow the game loaded up without the update nag and my kid played it for a while with no crashes or issues. Guessing it skips the FW requirement When launching from installer?

Didn’t use the hdd for a Couple weeks after that. Just tried it on the switch, and it does not recognize it. Then the same result with 2 PCs. It has been unplugged since running the XCI, was not dropped or anything.

Could just launching the game in this way and playing for a while kill the whole hdd?

Thanks for any info or speculation..

Only SX OS supports mounting .XCI files but all CFW support installation of all 3 types.

Hello,

i installes Pokemon Lets go on my switch with 0.9.4. atmosphere (hekate).

After installing the game started without problems. But when I want to start the game again it won't open because of a system system check.

What can I do about it? Is there some way to remove the firmware check? My switch is on 9.0.1.

Unsure how to word this but here it goes....

My SD card is almost full and I use SXOS. Most of my games are saved to the SD card, however, none of the games are using anywhere near enough of the memory bar, and I cant figure out what is keeping it in the "white" (if that makes sense?). Most installed games/updates/dlc are saved to the SD card and show up "green", but these barely take a chip off-even BOTW.

What could be causing this?

My OG Switch was perma-banned a LONG time ago. I never bothered to un-link my account and have been using SX OS all this time. A few hours ago, I logged into my Nintendo account and de-registered my Switch from my account. I did buy a few games before I got banned so is it still currently OK to get a new Switch, sign in with that old account and re-download all my stuff or should I just create a new account? (I bought Rocket League, MK8 and Odyssey and would like to avoid having to re-buy them.) My new Switch will never be hacked and I'd like to take it on-line.

I'm on 7.0.1 and would like to stay that way. What retail games can I play without worrying about updating to a higher fw? Is there a list somewhere?

I have a question that doesn't pertain to cfw or exploiting the system. if you archive or delete a game, will all dlc (paid for) and updates be downloaded to your system when you download the content again?

Hello everyone! I modded my Switch yesterday. Main reason was for PKHEX. Anyways, I was looking through the homebrew apps and the HB store. 90% of the things I do end up in error. Anything I download I get a giant error message. Clicking cheats, etc.

Anyone know whY?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if the NH Switch Guide is still the most up to date and comprehensive step by step guide for getting atmosphere on a switch or if there is somewhere on this forum that would be better.

Hey guys, playing around with emuMMC I followed tutorial here: https://emummc.homebrew.guide/

Now I have started from a clean backup that put my partition at 5.1.0/AMS 0.9.4/E

How do I safely update the firmware without burning fuse or anything? I want to play Pokemon online. Still haven't removed this partition from airplane so not to do anything wrong.

Also should a create a brand new profile that I only use for this clean partition or it shouldn't mather as long as I never leave airplane mode on my unclean partition?

Thank you

There are way too many Switch games for there to be a comprehensive list.

Yes, it archives/deletes everything related to that title.

It is theoretically impossible to burn fuses when updating emuMMC. I recommend using the homebrew application ChoiDujourNX to update the firmware if you do not want to connect the emuMMC to the Internet. It is also unnecessary to make a new profile as long as you keep it offline, Airplane Mode or otherwise.

@Draxzelex , does that mean when you click on the cloud (game that's been archived), it will redownload everything you have for that title? it doesn't differentiate on the eshop. it just lists your games.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

btw, the reason I ask is that when I ran out of space on the micro sd card, the system automatically deleted the largest game and with no warning. when I downloaded the game manually again, it put the game on the micro sd card and the update on the internal flash. I guess it kinda makes sense, since you can't move games to internal memory with a legit system. they have to be redownloaded with a micro sd card plugged in.

I believe it automatically redownloads everything but don't quote me on that.
