but, i heard xci are much more safer then nsp
I had the same problem. When I tried to install Fire Emblem I got the message "NCA signature verification failed. This file is modified, and could be malicious. Enable 'install unsigned code' in the options menu to override this error and install."
Should I chance it or find another NSP?
You can find keys online as they are the same across all consoles but Lockpick_RCM works on all firmware versions. As for your second question, the game will fail to convert if you do not have the right keys.
What CFW are you using?
Try to install the XCI into your MicroSD it could be that the Switch can't read the .XCI fast enough.
If you can't fix it buy the game legit.
I just said the keys are the same across all consoles. The only keys that are not identical are the biskeys and those are only used for hacdiskmount,@Draxzelex thank you for your reply. The xecuter info mentions that you need " 3. your OWN keys (use lockpick if you dont have them allready)" So I can use the ones I might find through a search... or do I need to extract my own? Is it console related... or are the keys the same for everyone?
Sorry if this is a very noobs question but I'm confused
Well yeah, .XCI files already load slower than .NSP files and HDD loading is the slowest compared to mounting from the eMMC (internal memory) or SD card. If you want better results, load from a different location or use the .NSP format (installing the .XCI file would produce the same results as installing the .NSP version).Running Hellblade xci in docked mode via USBHDD.. the audio clipping is pretty bad, along with loading times. I know this game is pushing the limits of the hardware but could I expect better results installing the xci via SX OS? Or perhaps an nsp?
Try reformatting your SD card to FAT32 as exFAT can corrupt your SD card.Every time i want to use kosmos tools i get an error i uploaded it.
I downloaded needed files from SDSETUP. sd card format is exfat.
Is there any specific cause of this error ?
Thanks, i'll try it.Try reformatting your SD card to FAT32 as exFAT can corrupt your SD card.
As ScrPotato pointed out, the exFAT drivers on the Switch are horrible so exFAT is objectively worse than FAT32. And you can backup everything on your SD card then reformat to FAT32.Thanks, i'll try it.
But i thought exfat is better format for switch.would u pls tell me how exFAT format can corrupt my SD card?
And can i make a backup from the folders on my SD card then reformat to FAT32 and after that restore files or i should do all things again? like install games and etc

An extra question:I installed exFAT version of frimware(8.1.0) by ChoiDujourNX..is it necessary to change the type of my frimware or not?

I definitely will do it but i am worried about 4Gb limited on FAT32. i know we can use programs like goldtree and similar app but many games wont install through this way.If you installed the exFAT driver, it is not required to reinstall 8.1.0 firmware again, but I would switch to FAT32, just copy your file off to an SD and format the card via guiformat or minitool partition wizard and copy it back.
