If I'm using emuMMC or CFW sysnand with Nintendo blocked by DNS, can I safely trade someone locally over wifi in Pokemon (diamond and pearl if it matters)

So it's hacked switch to regular switch and two legit copies of the game. Not sure if there is something special I need to do the hacked switch for this to be safe (especially for the person on the unmodded switch, I would prefer to stay unbanned just in case but mostly want their system and game safe)

I know the CFW sysnand is likely not clean either as it existed before emunand was an option.

Local trade has no bearing on whether or not you'll get banned. What matters is going online and local trades do not need an Internet connection.
 
I`m trying to update to 18.1.0 . Powered down console and updated all files on sd card via PC. Now I can`t get the switch to turn back on, can`t inject payload, etc.. Is it something to do with auto rcm? or can the battery be so dead it needs to charge overnight? I`ve updated many times, never had an issue.
 
Is there a way to boot into a specific NAND in docked mode? I broke the screen on my OLED but it still works fine in docked mode, except I can't access Hekate when docked.
 
I made a forwarder for retroarch. When I install it, It gave me an error of unsigned code. Is it safe to install? I used the SAK app to create it.

I finally got around to installing the RP2040-tiny on this one weird Switch once a modchip was installed would have jumpy video and the screen would become non resposive to touch. I installled the Tiny and when I powered the console on the RP2040 would flash like blue red green and go off and no display on the console. Checked my connections a bunch of times and nothing seems wrong. Any ideas?

Is there anything like fastCFW Switch for Mariko units? I broke my screen recently and Hekate isn't visible in docked mode so it's become impossible to switch from sysMMC to emuMMC.
 
I updated my sysnand to 18.1.0 using Daybreak while in my EMUMMC. Now only SYSMMC (SEMI STOCK) will launch from Hekate, showing 18.1.0 in settings. I can also boot the switch stock with no SD card and also shows 18.1.0 in settings.

When I try to launch SYSMMC CFW or EMUMMC CFW from Hekate I get a "Failed to apply 'nosigcheck' error, Atmosphere logo, brief Switch logo, then an Atmosphere panic error before reloading Hekate. I only update once a year and the process seems to be different each time around. I assume I have missing/old files or sigpatches on the SD. I really hope I have not created a burnt fuse issue! Please let me know if anyone can help out!

I removed the RP2040-Tiny and the Switch boots up as it should. I used 30 awg solid core wire for all connections. I kept them pretty short. I wonder if i need 40 awg magnet wire instead

That error means your patches are outdated. Download the latest patches from this thread.

I just tried the V2 package there, trying to launch EMUMMC CFW from Hekate gave black screen and had to hard reset. Launching SYSMMC CFW gave a brief Atmosphere logo followed by panic error.

This is in the root of the bootloader folder. There is also an INI TEMPLATE file there, if that matters.

It seems as though your [CFW (emuMMC)] is missing a line. It should look like the following:

[CFW - emuMMC]
fss0=atmosphere/package3
kip1patch=nosigchk
emummcforce=1
atmosphere=1
icon=bootloader/res/icon_payload.bmp

Add a line that says atmosphere=1 under the [CFW (emuMMC)]

atmosphere=1 is useless for his case since he is using fss0.

Best software to use in order to overclock the switch lite and best settings to not destroy the device while doing so ?
 
Hey, really noob here
so i have a switch that has the rp204 or smth inside, used to work just fine, used to see Hekate when booting, now all i see is boot.dat in red
help !
