Hacking Switch Informations by serial number - READ THE FIRST POST before asking questions

1. I was totally typing in the wrong serial, I included the '4' from the prefix. Thank you for your reply.
2. It's a friend's machine and confirmed serial.

I homebrewed my Switch in late 2021 and I am just revisiting the space for my mate. I'm just not sure if the latest FW has prevented payload injection.

If your switch is unpatched then firmware will never matter, it's unpatched for life.

2. If the sticker isn’t there, you can check it on your Switch by going to “System -> Serial Information.”
3. For Serial Numbers beginning in XAW1:
   Serials between XAW10000000000 to XAW10074000000 are unpatched and moddable.
   Serials between XAW10074000000 to XAW10120000000 are potentially patched.
   Serials from XAW10120000000 and up are patched and not moddable.
4. For Serial Numbers beginning in XAW4:
   Serials between XAW40000000000 to XAW40011000000 are unpatched and moddable.
   Serials between XAW40011000000 to XAW40012000000 are potentially patched.

XKK is the same like XKJ and XKW. Same for XJW, XJE or XWW. Everything that doesn't begin with XAJ or XAW is a mariko. Or if it starts with XTJ for example is an aula model (oled switch).

Is it moddable?

It is. But not via software. Fusée Gelée is patched since mid 2018. You need a modchip for Mariko/aula/patched erista units.

ALL of Switch Lite are 100% patched.

Remember, Switch Lite came out in September 2019, over one year after fusee-gelee exploit is discovered and Nintendo rushed to patch in new console since mid 2018.

Alternative? mod chip and you have to solder it.
