It just died. I could've just messed up the outlet and all the switches but I'll see when I get home. (I probably did because I'm an idiot.) No I didn't.

Don't know what information to give you.
I mean...
How fast is battery draining? Couldn't it just be an impression?
There are some games that suck a lot of power from your battery, maybe it's just that the case.
Have you done something strange with your console when this problem started?

No, I'm just using it for YouTube. Isn't there a(n unofficial) way to calibrate the battery?

The only thing I know that helps dealing with battery is a tool included in Hekate. You could try using it.

again, how fast is the battery draining?
some games manage about 1% per 2 minutes, others get well over 7 minutes per 1%.
not sure about youtube to be honest.

is it visibly draining even when you don't do anything/sleep mode is on?

what have you done to your switch so far?

what cfw? what firmware?

did you use a 3rd party dock/charger/powerbank before?

I also have battery drain.
I wasn't aware that switch wasn't turning off with AutoRCM and that the battery will reach 0% so it happened a few times.
I always succefussly managed to turn it back on after let it charges a few hours with the original charger.

Today, my battery lasts less than 1 hour.
From 100% - 15 minutes of Mario Kart, down to 75% - 30 minutes of NBA playground 2, battery is at 5%.

Is there a way to fix that ? Is my battery dead ?

Thanks for the help

if you dont use amiibo turn off nfc option
if you dont use internet turn off wifi
if you only play in portable mode turn off bluetooth option

you will gain some extra battery life

its the same as for smartphone

Okay here we go:

I have 2 Switch from the first generation.
Both have CFW first it was ReiNX now it is Atmosphere. (Don't ask why because the battery problem is important in this thread!)
I play on both Switch Zelda BOTW and the battery (still) holds for 3 - 3.5 hours continuous play!
I also play in my breaktime EVERY day at work for 45 minutes (different games) and from 100% it goes down to 80% - 75% after play.
I then power it on at home maybe 4 - 5 hours later and when it was on 80% it has 74% left.

What do i use in Atmosphere: Standard DL (github!) + nsdebugger.KIP
Screen brightness is at 50% and "Adjust brightness" is on
Sound is at constant 75% (most of the time i use headphones)

Don't know what you are doing but i hope that will help ;)

P.S. it is nice that some make packages with "Install and use" but sometimes it is overloaded with things you'l never need ;)
Try to install the bare minimum and IMHO the battery problem will be gone!

(If not there could always be a HW problem!)

I've only installed ReinX from github, reinx toolkit and tinfoil. Nothing more.
Auto brightness is off.

I heard that with Li-Ion battery, you shouldn't hit 0%. And I've hit it few times. Like the real 0% when it goes into RCM because of AutoRCM... I'm afraid I've fucked the battery.

I am doing tests. Battery was 100%.
No sleep mode, on home screen, screen brightness at 100% : losing more than 1%/hour

So it seems it was a desync with the percentage showed by the Switch.
Howereve, the battery fix in Hekate didn't fix it.

I played until the Switch turned off by itself because of low batttery and put it back to charge for a day.
Now everything is running fine and battery life is back to normal.

Im having sever issues too and I had let it die while in AutoRCM as well. I went from 91%-9% in 20 minutes of play. Did you turn AutoRCM off and then let it drain or drained it while in AutoRCM and then hold power until it completely shuts down and charge it again?

I let AutoRCM on and played until the Switch goes off by itself.
I had a huge red empty battery in the middle on my screen then black screen.
I let the battery on the dock for a full day and when I took it back, battery was full, no need to push payload. It was at 100% on homescreen.
