Alright i'm lookin' for a super cheap headset to buy my friend, since his poor ass can't afford one.

Super cheap, my only other requirement is that IT WORKS. Pretty much trying to find the best of the cheap headsets.
Anyone got any suggestions? I tried googling but I haven't found squat as far as cheap headsets go.

Yeah, to be honest, the Dollar store had a pair for about 5-10 bucks that has some pretty good sound quality. It also came with adapters for PC, XBox, phone, and some other things.

Does it have to be a headset or can a mic/headphone combination work?

Has to be headset. Just his preference. Unless you know a mic that's friendly with the fact he's on a laptop sitting on his bed, and not at a desk or anything. Overall would actually be a better solution since he has really good headphones.

Dollar stores here don't have squat, lol. Nothin' electronic anyway. I've seen a battle axe before...but never headphones/headsets.

Those are headphones, not a headset. I've got a pair of Sennheiser PMX60s, which were very cheap.

EDIT: Ninja'd
EDIT2: My brother is going for a pair of Creative Fatal1ty, which have really come down in price now.
Got the Creative Fatl1ty, would not recommend it. After a few hours it starts to hurt. Can't comment on the sound quality though because I'm not at all knowledgeable in that area.

If the headset will be used for extended periods of time, neck cramps can and will occur depending on the weight, my headset is a little heavy and it took a few weeks before my neck adjusted to the strain that was being forced onto it...

Ended up goin' with the Creative Fatal1ty. $22, shipped with 2 day shipping.
No taxes...
I hate America. Honestly. I can't believe shipping is so god damn cheap. I nearly punched my monitor.
Aaanyway, thanks for the suggestion. That was definitely the best I could find for a cheap price.

Cheapo Logitech mayber, those defintely hurt your ears though.

Yeah my expensive logitech headset wasn't kind on my ears.

Amazon.com, used. Fulfilled by Amazon though.
It's American, so the cost would be waaay more Canadian. My friend lives in the US...sooo it made shit real cheap.
All I saw on Amazon.ca for the same headset was $83 new.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
