I buy the new Japan model CUH-2200AB01 and have 5.55 firmware.
How I downgrade it?

I ended up keeping the below PS4 Pro.
White ps4 pro with horizon zero dawn, uncharted 4, mass effect andromeda and GT sport on the back.
CUH-7102B B02
S01-5640XXX-1
It was on firmware version 4.7X
One way to check the firmware (as others have stated) is to look for the Date Code at the back of the PS4. This way you do not need to turn it on to check the firmware. My Date Code was 7C. After checking psdevwiki Datecode (can't insert links), I realised that my firmware should be 4.7X and it was
Another thing that helped (thanks kingpin007) was the date of copyrighted graphics on the box. Mine were from 2017 so that confirmed the 7C Date Code.

Thanks for the info. Are the games physical or are those just download codes?
Even though I have a JB'd PS4, every now and then I like to come in this thread and read posts where people mention they've just got a JB PS4. It makes me so happy 
GameStop has "Days of Play" systems back in stock in the (US), just scooped one up, hopefully they still come with 5.07.

So it appears I might be ass out again, the (US) Days of Play systems come with CUH-2115B, and there is no information anywhere at all what firmware it comes with. (apparently everywhere else in the world uses hacked systems except for america lol)
I know some CUH-2115B systems come with 5.50, but I have also heard of people getting them with below 5.05, so it is a toss up.
If anyone has information about this system that can confirm what firmware it is, Id really appreciate it, otherwise It looks like I am going to have to guinea pig it again.

You see where it might be a bit confusing, I'm guessing if NA gets the same systems as Japan that ours is on 5.50 as well, thing is i have no idea, because there is no information available about it anywhere
Edit/ Apparently Japan got a 500gb model CUH-2100Abzn, so it is not exactly the same model as NA.

Dunno about fw. It appears that limited editions are manufactured a bit earlier.
GoW needs 5.05 but gow limited edition console comes with 4.73.
Maybe u will be lucky and it will have 5.05
This's def not on 5.05 or earlier, release date is Sept 7th. hopefully there's a new exploit coming since there're plenty of AAA titles at the end of the year

Hey could either you or someone else please help me figure out what firmware this 1tb ps4 slim is on? I tried researching it as much as possible but couldn't find anything. The model number is CUH-2116BB01Y, any help would be greatly appreciated .
