Hacking Stuck Pixels

Okay, I woke up the afternoon, and started playing Pokemon Heart Gold and when I turned it on I almost cried seeing black on my screen. At first I thought the screen died like my last two fat DS'. But the black space was shaped quite right for screen being dead and once I started my game I could tell it was stuck Pixels. Is there any way to fix it or should I buy a new DS?

Aww, that isn't too good >.<
I personally think I would buy a new DS, if that would happen to me I would be pissed.

You may be able to fix it if you run the stuck pixel tester in DiagnoSe (should be on Filetrip somewhere) for a while.

Replacing the screen is fairly straightforward, but as has been said countless times before elsewhere it can cause more harm than good if you don't know what you're doing. Can save a fair bit of money.
