Gaming Steam Deals

I was waiting and hoping Mass Effect would drop in price.

I dont know whether or not to get Mass Effect. That problem with the UAC might get annoying and is holding me back from purchasing it

They had the same warning up for Jade Empire about UAC. I'm able to run that without UAC on Steam. Probably because I don't have Steam installed in 'Program Files' or something. *shrugs*

I think Steam is fail. It would be a good thing if you could resell the games you bought on there... or if you wanted to trade or give them to someone else but you cant. Once you buy a game off of Steam it's yours for life. Even at a cheap price... I would rather buy a game that I could give to someone or trade it later on... even if it costs me a little more. Also, if your internet sucks... having a game disc = ftw!

Is there a way to buy gifts now, but hold the names for later? I wanted a few extra copies of CSS to hold on to, but there's no way of doing that?
There is.

Buy it as a gift and then send it to an email of yours. After that you'll have to choice to resend the gift to an account or to another email later.

Not exactly a decisive answer here, but you could download the Red Alert 3 demo and see how well it runs on your system.

I had a feeling they'd bring back some of the older deals. I kinda want to pick up Bioshock and Shadow of Chernobyl. I thought they would bring back Prey too though

I wonder when Steam will do another sale like these. Hopefully we don't have to wait another year. Slightly disappointed they didn't have any new deals up today. Still good for those who missed the earlier ones.

Same, hopefully they'll have a week of Easter sales.

Freakin region lock, is there anyway to avoid it? I see there are some awesome deals that I can't get access to.

By the way, can someone tell me all the deals available on Steam right now?

If you know someone in another country you could send them funds via paypal and have them gift you the game in return. Other then that I'm not sure.

I think the final curtain refers to the closing last curtain. As in nothing happens after that. As in the show is, finito homeslice.

Aw, damn! D: lol. Is Defense Grid any good? I might buy it but idk yet. Is it as fun as StarCraft TD's because I loved those.
