He said after the Mario and Kirby cutscene it gives him an error saying to eject the disc on ios 249 I believe, and a black screen on ios 222.

I get that error, also, but it seems to appear randomly.
Maybe the data transfer via hd to wii from usb is a bit slow and the game crashes?

Not if it happens everytime and in the same place.

If it's in the same place and you're using a USB hard drive, it could be the hard drive spinning down to save power.

i got the same error

i think might be the iso file with problem..... wiibrickblock causes that on the DVD too

-Update CFG USBLOADER to its latest version...

-Try Wanin ciosX 249 rev 19 with different bases (IOS37, IOS38, IOS57, IOS60 or IOS70)
(Rev 19 uses base 57 as default, try base 38)

-Maybe your ISO is corrupted...(bad download/dump)
