dumb idea. not as many people are gonna go diving into the '3D" fad and even less for it being on handheld games. if done it should be done on ds and 3ds
1 - 3D is optional. Some people have issues with 3D, IE - getting sick/vomiting/headaches/etc/whatever it's called. If it was 3D only, it'd be Nintendo discriminating, and Nintendo is a 'family' company. Or so they say.
2 - Comparing the 3DS and DS, that's like GC & N64. And it's not so much as an idea as to, they're waiting to see what the 3DS can do.
3 - Read below, bold parts. They can't do it on two systems, if you bothered to read [the first part of it].
