You'd be forgiven if you thought that they'd stop at the Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition.

However, Square Enix seems adamant to bring the latest installment in the Final Fantasy franchise to a wider audience. Today, they've announced FINAL FANTASY XV POCKET EDITION - an all-new mobile adventure for iOS, Android and Windows 10 devices that retells the story of FINAL FANTASY XV.

FINAL FANTASY XV POCKET EDITION contains the main characters and main story of the console and newly announced FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION versions, with the freedom to play whenever and wherever you want. Now you can travel through Eos, as you travel through the real world. With a cute art style that will appeal to mobile and existing players alike and casual touch control optimised for mobile devices, allowing anyone to play with ease. The main story is told across ten thrilling episodes. All ten episodes will be available when FINAL FANTASY XV POCKET EDITION releases later this year with the first episode available to download for free.

I must admit, news like this makes it seem more likely that it will turn up on a Nintendo system sooner or later... unfortunately, it will more than likely be an 'enhanced' port of this mobile version on Switch or 3ds, rather than the 'proper' version the 'real' consoles have.

think of it as a final fantasy 15 mod for final fantasy 7 for mobile devices... its going to be an estimate of 50-75 years before phones are able to emulate the ps4 or xbone... or anything that powerful....

I think people underestimate the Switch's power. It should handle it fine after being toned down in certain aspects.
Only reason anyone should care about this game coming to the Switch is because it'll be the first "realistic" game to push the Switch to it's limits.

I'm not saying there aren't people who don't like the game. All I did was put in my two cents and that was it. If you want it, fine, but I don't see any reason to want it. Simple as that.

Seriously? The graphics aren't hyper-realistic, so you shit all over it? I don't mind the art style. I just might shell out the money for it, since my mom's xbone is only used for hawking at pawn shops whenever we need the money. I'll have it right next to FFXI Mobile, whenever that one comes out.
