Well gameplay's the thing but it really does look goofy. Although that screenshot of the red thing farting fire on the other creature looks ok. The gui needs some serious reworking though.

Gameplay is indeed the thing. Anybody remember Eco on the Amiga? Wireframe graphics, but great trial and error evolution interface. Eat or be eaten... tweak that DNA... makes for a good game. If they can get the interaction right on SporeDS, the goofy-ass lookin' graphics won't matter a bit.

I actually think it looks good, remember the stupid creatures are just the creation of an IGN editor, you can make your creatures non-silly if you want.

I think this might be a pretty cool addition to the DS library from what I read in IGN's preview, it only contains the creature phase and you only control a single creature but the review made it seem very action-rpg-ishy. I'm actually quite looking forward to this, even though I have a PC to play the real Spore, the DS version should still be fun to play now and then.

thankyou, someone with sense

its all about gameplay,
sure graphics are important, but isnt this why you people bought a Ds and not a PSP
