my 30 gig toshiba ipod HDD in its enclosure stops loading game info after a while. it takes more than a half hour, but a few hours into a game, either it will hang at the loading screen or crash during a cutscene. it never freezes while im actually playing. it doesnt ALWAYS happen, but its frequent enough where its annoying. also, when i have to restart the wii when it hangs, i have to hold the power until its totally off for it to do anything. is it spindown or overheating? the drive itself doesnt feel hot at all, but i didnt find any articles about toshiba spindown issues on google, so i dont know.
