file sizes is less of an issue to me...trouble with dpg is that it has no indexing...
everytime you stop a movie and want to view it from the middle you have to start from the beginning again, which is horrible!!

Why don't you hit Select or tap the touchscreen, then use the file seeker?

Even with that, it tooks a lot of time to reach the moment that you want.

This seems to be a problem with batchDPG.
If you use the included DPGTools it seeks much faster...

Now... how do I make it work??? I placed it on my R4's root with the movie... Boot it up... I got the bar with the Back, skip, play button..... but nothing happens :-(

I even tried DLDI patcher (even tho I assumed I shouldnt because R4 should do it automaticly).

Any help?

i suspect it's large if it's using motion jpeg and uincompressed audio. sounds similar to DSM.

Hmmmm. I'm sceptical to this. I don't think a video player made in PAlib is a good idea.

Sorry, that *IS* a rhetorical question.

If you're not interested in rhetoric, I advise just trying both of them out and deciding for yourself if there's any reason to use Spinal's Player over Moonshell.

It worked? I tried and couldnt pull it... I got a black screen and nothing happens, all buttons on the DS (except Power) and the screen buttons doesnt do anything :-(

Because you are using an older version of BatchDPG that doesn't use DPG2 which supports indexing. Get the latest beta (and most likely the last version) here.
