As i see it, the games are installed in the HDD before, and the patch that they are talking about is the one that lets the console recognize the HDD as formatted by the same console, so the console is formatting the HDD with a unique key that could be found with the OTP dumper released.
But, OFC, i can be wrong, there's nothing more left that waiting.
Thanks @King Cerelepe
The real question is how were they installed?

Well it's quite good videos but i really don't care another and another and another game video trailer but i really want a "how it works" video instead. Anyway thanks.
Someone who understands me!!!!1!11 :O

Probably, if they found how to decrypt the system file inside the USB formatted via WiiU, they managed to know what filesystem uses, and, since we can decrypt WUD files, just reproduced it.
Maybe, and this is just theory, they found a file inside the legit game on HDD that nintendo uses like a "license" with the unique keys used for the console, you could, let's say, create the same file and with the wup installer modified, install it to the HDD as if the console made it itself, so the console will recognize it.
IMO, ofc.

But then they would still need to format the HDD into that special format after putting the game... :/

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

To make what I said more clear, if there's a "license" that includes the per-console key, it won't magically tell the Wii U that the HDD is formated to the right format.
Thus what you said is not correct unless they indeed formated the HDD to the right format. ;)

Remember WBFS filesystem in the early days of USB loading in the Wii?
If you had to patch a game, you patched it before the conversion to WBFS format, while you had it as .iso, and then, an app let you transfer it to an usb, i'm practically talking about that, but with a "patch on the fly" via wup installer modified to let the console recognize it.
With this, the console will recognize the game, but, ofc, the eShop account won't show it as purchased.

Maybe there is a "magic key" inside of preinstalled games. So they just dumped it, changed the "magic key" by its own key which prevously was geht via Trump's OTP? So it would maybe possible to add your "magic key" to every game?

This is the whole point of this thread!! (If you read the first post carefully, you'll find that this is what I was talking about)

But still what you said doesn't sound that much valid... :/
