Is there a way to edit a sound_data.sdat file. I see many of these files in DS ROMS. I opened one of these files up in UltraEdit, and I don't understand anything... (I'm not very good with hex) So is there a way to edit the sounds in a file like this.

sdat files are groups of other sound files (modified midi, wave, sequence, etc)
just extract the files inside the sdat.

    Vgmtrans or its relative VgmToolbox
dump the sdat with something then open with vgm and dump the files with vgm
winavi has a codec that you have to search for to change the vgm dumped files to mp3
Don't know if they can be changed back though...
