I have already asked this in another post but I need a quick answer long story short updated a og 3ds to 11.2.0.0 forgot soundhax did not work ordered the r4i gold 3ds rts to install cfw but now I have come across the plus version that can play ds games don't mind buying another flash card can I install cfw of the plus version, and I would like to big up gba temp community for the help.

Try using the otherapp payload with -7 at the end. That seems to work for people who cart updated from a really early version

That doesn't work. If you update from below 3.x firmware to above it breaks SoundHax.

Note that Cart Updates will only deliver updates to core features, such as the System Settings, Home Menu, etc. Cart Updates will not deliver updates to Nintendo 3DS Sound and Network features, such as System Transfer, Internet Browser, StreetPass Mii Plaza, or eShop.

This means that using a Cart Update from a version containing an older Nintendo 3DS Sound version (<3.0.0) to one that introduced a newer Nintendo 3DS Sound version will break Soundhax! You will need an alternate method of entering the Homebrew Launcher!
