And @Shadowkiller so your saying that basically you would allow sony to effectively copyright a NUMBER and basically say that when you buy a electronic piece of equipment it belongs to them still. So basically that says if the console is obsolete they can choose to break it at their own discretion. Heck they can even force you how to play your games and everything.

Sony needs to update their marketing tactics/customer relations section or be left in the dust. I haven't bought a Sony product since the Ps1 and I'm ok with this. Sad part is that its only the American division fucking this up for everyone in my understanding. Oh well, I'll be waiting to see what happens. After all, you can only sue so many people before the majority get pissed.
