I have encountered none of these problems... today I played Sonic 3 and never failed a bonus stage or even lost a life... maybe its your TV?

Don't think so. But then again I was playing it on a PS3 so that's a possible fail on my part. Other games work fine. Easy trophies/achievements at least.

But I'm over it now, playing the Phantasy Stars in order on PC for shits n giggles now, and having a blast.
