i installed rev 14 without doing anything else, it works just fine.
you need bannerbomb to install bootmii or the other exploits.
its like preloader, it can recover a semi brick.

first: of course you could. rev 10 will just be overwritten by rev 14. 222, 223 cios are not related to installing to 249 but are also backup loading cios like 249. read here for more info: http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/cios/waninkoko

second: bootmii is an anti-brick protection for your wii. it doesn't prevent you from bricking your wii but it will help you recover your wii from a brick. read here for more info: http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/how-to-use/bootmii

you did not specify clearly what "damaged data thingy" or how did the "black screen, white letters" occurred so nobody had give you specifics on what to do. better read first like the other had said. check on this for all info that you need: http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/home

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
