I plan on taking my Wii with me while vacationing in Europe. I am aware that i will need a power adapter.
My question is, will a NTSC Wii work on a PAL TV though?

If your TV is newish or if you use component or SCART cables.

Read info from Your power brick.
Does it support 110V-230V 50Hz/60Hz? If yes You will need only simple plug adaptor for country You want spend Your vacation.

NTSC wii does not support true rgb:

So _real_ scart cable won't work.
Just grab component cable and cable bundled with wii. Don't forget that small RCA to scart converter.
Component cable should work everywhere You find component input.
For RCA cable You need NTSC capable tv. It's related to country You want to go. Most of them are multi system today.
For example in Poland You car will be stolen. So grab vodka instead of wii.

Most PAL tvs support NTSC or PAL60 these days.
Been recently in deep Russia?

Pretty sure Russia is SECAM anyway, that and the majority is in Asia.
So we need Denizzz to tell us what country he will invade. Thanks god there is not much oil in my neighbourhood.
Until then we should assume worst case scenario.

Thank you. Very informative.
Yeah, i figured that it would work without a power converter since my PAL N64 worked without one when i moved to the US. All i needed is a cheap power plug adapter.
I had to get a multi system TV though because the signal was scrambled when i tried to play the N64 on a NTSC TV. Hence my question.

So, you're saying, all i need is a RCA to SCART adapter? I doubt that i will find a multi system TV over there. Even if i did, i have no plans on purchasing one.

As for my target of the invasion. Balkans!

N64 uses exactly same power brick as Your Wii?

Just ask about tv model.
Pick country. More far east - less luck.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.
