Hacking SoftMod Help

I havent softmodded a wii in ages, mine was Zelda Twilight - HBC, that last one i done was a 4.0e with BannerBomb then TunchaBug Restorer for IOS15

I am reading the Guide in the Stickies: "Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below, Up to 4.3, any serial, black wii's, any region"
and have a question about this part

Installing a Trucha'd IOS into slot 236.
VERY IMPORTANT! ONLY APPLIES TO 4.3

So do i need to do that if the Wii is 4.2 or below

Follow the guide. There's an update to 4.2 and modify 4.2 section.

Thx mate, i am fulling the guide but it say
"Installing a Trucha'd IOS into slot 236." "VERY IMPORTANT! ONLY APPLIES TO 4.3" So i dont do this for 4.2 ?
Do i just skip that step, and go to: Installing cIOS & Patching the System Menu IOS (The good stuff!)

After a bit more reading, i understand, i need to run the 236 installer
had me confused when it says "VERY IMPORTANT! ONLY APPLIES TO 4.3"
