I got a problem to install the Softcorp. After I hight light all IOS and press to install, I choosed "Select installtion mode: ". But got an error message:
[+] Downloading IOS9 (v7), please wait.....
>> Downloading TMD... ERROR! (ret = -1)

Anyone know what is that mean? My wii is not LU64.

strange as it sounds, it could be a weird IOS9 problem. sometimes it just won't downgrade. I had to just remove it once and update via disc to reinstall an older version.

Downgrade? From what I know it doesn't downgrade it just gets the latest ios of nintys server and patches them for trucha.
Try selecting all other ioses but 9. That might help.

After Softcorp, preloader/CIOSCORP/BootMii can be installed. I was just informed of this a few moments ago.

I think I missed something.......

You can install PreLoader on LU64+ Wii's???? CIOSCorp too????

I have try to unselected some of the ios and still not work.

I skiped this step and run the "CiosCrop" from th HBC. Well, right now it can play the copy game when it is loaded by the "NeoGamma". But after I installed the preloader2.9. When I reboot the wii and go into the preloader configutation menu. If I clicked on th "Systemmenu Hacks", it will said:
"hacks for your systemmenu version(v417) were found no".

The only thing that SoftMii (Waninkoko in fact!) brought us is the LU64+Fix.
That is good!

Without that, we still where nowhere and where begging about a LU64 Fix..

So we must not complain.

V3.0 probably did put the finished LU64+Fix.wad version, which should be saver.

The download comes with like like 20 apps yet only lke 15 are used in the guide?
I've got wifi so i plan on doing the online method.

From my understanding:

1] use hackmii installer thru bannerbomb or tphack.
2] run shared2clean and remove illegal wads.
3] use dvd_fw3.4_comex and install all three options.
4] install the cios of your choice. [comes with cios 7, 13a and 13b] [[im using cio10]
5] run ios downgrader [doesn't say in guide when to use but its included in the files.] [[is the most logical order to run?]]
6] use softcorp app and install check all ios
7] run cioscorp [except lu64 users]
8] run the IOS60-61_Shop_Mii_Installer and install all features.
9] run cmios installer to allow gc backups.
10] installer preloader .29

the custom wad manager, cios_fix.wad, ios16.wad, lu64fix.wad, are only used for the offline method.

idk what the startup.elf, and boot.dol are on the root of the file.
i'd imagine the boot.dol is the wad manager for the bootmii used in the offline installation.

twlight hack is included but are not necessary. it should have came with bannerbomb instead.

the hacks.ini it came with im not using because ive got mine from wiibrew.

that leaves the AnyRegionChanger1.1bM5, IOS-Downgrader, SoftMii NAND Browser, and WadManager untouched during the installation of softmii method.
if so, why are they included?

can someone clarify these steps for me?

The only thing that interests me about the whole thing is softcorp which as I can understand will be a disc channel loader thats better by far the cioscorp.

As far as I can tell the only reason why Softcorp does not do this right now is because the new cios rev 14 is not released yet and once it is it will make softcorp work properly.

If I am wrong could somone inform me please.

You need to use cboot2 to install cIOS on a LU64 with 4.0. Look into it.

I have a lu64 3.4u with the lu64fix that i installed in the very begining when it first came out i can run usb loader and backup loaders so i see this softmii 3.0 came out what else can i do to my lu64 and can i install bootmii? and can i install preloader or do i have to update to 4.0??
