The instructions on the site aren't even that clear?
The download comes with like like 20 apps yet only lke 15 are used in the guide?
I've got wifi so i plan on doing the online method.
From my understanding:
1] use hackmii installer thru bannerbomb or tphack.
2] run shared2clean and remove illegal wads.
3] use dvd_fw3.4_comex and install all three options.
4] install the cios of your choice. [comes with cios 7, 13a and 13b] [[im using cio10]
5] run ios downgrader [doesn't say in guide when to use but its included in the files.] [[is the most logical order to run?]]
6] use softcorp app and install check all ios
7] run cioscorp [except lu64 users]
8] run the IOS60-61_Shop_Mii_Installer and install all features.
9] run cmios installer to allow gc backups.
10] installer preloader .29
the custom wad manager, cios_fix.wad, ios16.wad, lu64fix.wad, are only used for the offline method.
idk what the startup.elf, and boot.dol are on the root of the file.
i'd imagine the boot.dol is the wad manager for the bootmii used in the offline installation.
twlight hack is included but are not necessary. it should have came with bannerbomb instead.
the hacks.ini it came with im not using because ive got mine from wiibrew.
that leaves the AnyRegionChanger1.1bM5, IOS-Downgrader, SoftMii NAND Browser, and WadManager untouched during the installation of softmii method.
if so, why are they included?
can someone clarify these steps for me?
