And I guess r26 is out which fixes the breakiness in r24 and r25. I'll be uploading r26 shortly.

EDIT: r26 uploaded.
Sorry for the noobish question, but where do I actually downloaded the latest dol on that page? I am a complete noob with these ISO loaders and I wanted to make my first attempt on my friends Wii. What else would I have to install with this work?

No downloads are on the Google Code page.
I upload them to my server. The download is here: http://ratm.net63.net/SoftChip.dol

EDIT: To compile them yourself (Instructions for Linux)
1) Download my Easy devkitPro Setup Script
Code:
wget http://ratm.net63.net/devkitPPC.sh
2) Run the script
Code:
sh devkitPPC.sh
3) Make sure to enter the FULL install directory name (i.e. /home/andy/.devkitPro)
4) Get the SoftChip source (requires Subversion: sudo aptitude install subversion )
Code:
svn checkout http://wii-softchip.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ wii-softchip-read-only
5) cd into the directory and build (requires build-essential: sudo aptitude install build-essential )
Code:
cd wii-softchip-read-only/softchip && make
6) Grab the made DOL and clean the directory
Code:
cp SoftChip.dol ~ && make clean
7) Update sources whenever
CODE
cd wii-softchip-read-only && svn update

Thanks for the info Arm. But, I would still need a cIOS to run this correct? I just want to know which one. I'm trying to read through this thread but with all the releases, this thread is pretty hectic.

Like WiiGator's, there is no need to use DVDX for this.
I actually was concerned about it messing with Softchip, but I needed it to use MPlayer DVD. If it messes with Softchip in anyway, then I won't install DVDX.

Well what better way to know if something works than to try it yourself?
It works here... but that doesn't mean that work for everyone, like r22, worked here but not with stev418.

I've just filed Issue 9. I'm running 480p and used to consistently crash on boot. I'm 5/5 so far on boots. That's good. However, the top line is now being clipped on the display.
