I got a Sandisk 4gb MicroSDHC and a CycloDS earlier this week. It seems to work so far, although I haven't tried CastlevaniaoR yet.
It came with a usb reader as well so I haven't tried it with the reader that came with the CycloDS.
aslacker55 did you try putting the sdhc in the R4?
My 4gb micro SDHC came in today and I've been testing it with my cyclods evo.
Yes, the card reader that comes with the cyclods evo are SDHC compatible. With the 4gb micro sd I tried Castlevania DoS (it played the intro perfectly), Castlevania PoR ( I played it for 1 hr straight and it did not freeze at all, including the portals and talking to Wind), and pokemon pearl (works fine, no wii connection). There was also no slowdowns in the other games that I tried so far.
I do have to say that 4gb is too much. I currently have 70 untrimmed DS roms with saves in the card and I still have over a gig left on the card. A cyclods evo plus a 4gb micro sd equals to an expensive but amazing combo.

I have a mp3 player for music and a laptop for movies. No need to put that stuff in my Cyclods evo. Here's my big question... With 70 untrimmed games on there, was there any longer time to load the menu or anything, because if not... I think I see what my next Slot-1 device is to replace the DS-X.
The load times were the same with the 4GB micro sdhc (with 70 roms) and my 1GB Kingston japanese microsd. The amount of stuff in the micro sd didn't affect the load times.. The 4gb micro sd cost $60 shipped and $58 for the cyclods evo shipped. $118 is alot, but it's still cheaper than the 2GB DS-X.
QUOTEDon't you put any videos or music on it too?
