Hacking So, I think I now have had every possible AK2i freeze.

First, the one that brought me no-where at all.
- not even showing the card on my DSi screen.

then the following.
- showing a black card.
- saying the error you get when you've updated the system and have outdated firmware (i have 1.8.1 and dsi(1.4.1) or something... not the latest dsi firmware.
- I get the "missing a file" now and then.
- can't update the firmware cuz the loading time just starts to hang.
- i almost forgot the occasional black screen of freeziness or just freezing all together in a game.
and last, but not least.
a fun pokemon freeze where I was in the middle of the last battle in N's castle.... and then, during my opponents 2nd or 3rd pokemon;
I get a lower blue screen and an error on the top screen, saying I need to switch my DSi off...

so... any help for this? XD
and don't go saying I need to configure or format my card or what so ever, because I did that.

my load went from 3 to 10 seconds thanks to the new firmware..
and all these errors... they're freeking me out...

You might have formatted your card but follow the below instructions as carefully as you can.

1) First of all, download SD Formatter and install it.

2) Now, format your SD card using it.

3) Download AKAIO 1.8.6a.

4) Now, extract everything from the archive to the root of your SD card.

5) Make sure that you're using a CLEAN, UNPATCHED rom of Pokemon Black/White, try running it again and see if it freezes again.

6) If it still doesn't work, download these loaders and extract them to the _aio/loaders directory present on the root of your SD Card.

You can also try reflashing your firmare. Download this and follow the readme.

it is NOT!!!! about pokemon! it is about the card itself, and let the formatting just be.
I use linux and before that windows, both have enough formatting. nothing worked... it is not due to format stuff..
and I did enough loader thingies... it's crud....

about freezing: you could have a bad microSD...i threw away my crappy sandisk, which clearly past it's prime (random access @16kb = 11.1ms) and now using a card with lower latency
the random freezes, i experienced are gone, now
test your microSD with "HD Tach" to be sure, that it's not your microSD

if it commonly happens, that your cart is not showing up at the menu ---> try the papertrick

"missing a file"? never got this message...did you mean "system file is missing" showing up while booting a game? in that case, it might be a corrupted save-file

and please, don't blame people, who just trying to help you out

I'm not blaming ^^ and thanks :3 but, uhmz.. yeah, the system file also came once or twice when booting the card itself.
i'll try a new card sooner or later, I guess

it was just so irritating that all those errors came at the same time XD

Ugh, have you tried putting AKAIO 1.8.6a? Yours is outdated. Also, please don't talk rudely. I'm trying to help you. Also, I bet that you haven't tried reflashing it. I recommened that you do so.

I'm sorry and as I said, putting akaio later then 1.8.1 gives infinite loading freeze.
I'm sorry if I'm in anyway rude, but I've had this card for about a year or so and I have only heard good stuff about this card till today when a friend of mine started using M3 and ditched his acekard..
I'm now trying a 2gb card.
