Homebrew (sneek) + DI possible in real nand?

Hey,
Would it be possible (in theory) to create a di (like in sneek di) which works with the real nand?
I think that it should go when you change something in the nand to...

Honestly, I don't know.

But if you can think logical, it would come to your mind that it would have already been done if it would be possible/easy. And given that nobody did this until now, I'll say: No.

Without Sneek you cannot fool the PPC to believe the USB data came from the disc drive. It might be possible though to use the real NAND and just redirect the disc reading to USB in Sneek.

Possible, of course, because you're just removing the NAND emulation feature of SNEEK.
Easy?
No, because you'd either need to a.) prepatch the system menu with the right things, or setup a way to patch it in memory on each boot.
No fun either way.
