Everyone keeps saying you should put a PAL Wii in 50hz mode, but I wanted to note it works fine (and looks awesome) in 480p as well. You might want to put that with the info, or people might think it doesn't work.

For Sudden death, click the BRAWL button (regular matches) and you then see a button with sort of a head with rabbit ears. By clicking it you have all the special melee options.
Click "300%" in the first line for sudden death.

Sorry to ask again, if it was posted somewhere else, I'm a total noob.

I just got my D2CKey on my NTSC-U Wii and got the game. So, is patching it with BrickBlocker and using RegionFrii to change it to NTSC-U then booting it up the right thing to do? Or did I make a mistake there>

Does anyone know if running the update 100% on the dvd5 version will cause problems when my retail SSBX copy arrives? Or possibly future problems when the USA version gets released?

Saw this over at Wiinewz:

- Sonic unlocks Green Hill Zone.
- Mr. game and Watch unlocks his level.
- 20 games with DK unlocks a level.
- 20 games with Kirby unlocks Green Greens.
- 10 games with Captain Falcon unlocks Big Blue.
- 10 games on PokeStadium 2 unlocks PokeStadium 1.
- 10 games on Melee maps unlocks a map.
Can't vouch for the Sonic and Game & Watch levels, but I can confirm the rest work.

EDIT: Just like to mention spectator mode works for me as well.

For some reason, every time I have chosen Pokemon Stadium 2 as my course, it gives me an error and I have to reset. Does this happen to you guys? It's also happened with Hyrule melee stage once.

Spectators mode can be used, but brawl match on random didn't match anyone with me too. Now the question is ...

Does the FRIEND online mode run?

I've also been wondering this. I'd try it myself, but my Wii is at the repair shop 'til Friday.

Anyone know if WiFi with friends works?

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
