Just a quick question, is it possible to run the NDS browser from a slot 2 card, while utilizing that slot 2 cards RAM?

tl;dr can you run the NDS browser off an EZ Flash IV Lite Deluxe only?

As far as I know, no. The M3 wiki says that the opera is the only NDS rom that doesn't work at all so I am guessing if the M3 couldn't do it neither can the other cards or else it would be mentioned by now. AFAIK, you need both a slot 1 and 2 with the opera browser patched for your particular slot 2.

    @BigOnYa, Maybe. Depends if Nintendo wanted to expand the lifespan of the console. But with every console that they release, it usually gets discontinued after 10-12 years.

    Support from big n may stop aka new firmwares, but devs will prob continue making games for it as long as sales are good.

    New firmwares are only there to prevent piracy/softmodding hardware, they do not "enhance the user experience" as they claim so on and so forth. And if they decide to add new features to the system via firmware updates, then it's quite rare.

    I have a feeling big N has a extra trick up they sleeve to prevent piracy this time w Switch 2. (Lotus 4 maybe) So the new games can't be dumped, even w a dump tool. (Mig dumper)

    It would have to be extra security measures in the Switch 2 gamecarts that will be different from the OG Switch carts. So, for example, Switch 2 gamecarts will not work with the Switch, because it has a different ASIC. Game partitions and layout to a Switch ROM will be the same, but has extra flags in the ROM header info that only the Switch 2 will recognise.
