NP reveals more details on Zelda SS
Scans are now available for September’s issue of Nintendo Power, in which reveals a lot more on Skyward Sword. Some of these details were reported not too long ago, but we now have confirmation on those details as well as a few other pieces of new information for Skyward Sword.

Key Notes : Zelda will return, no comment on Ganon, no voice acting, races such as Goron and Zora will return, new puzzle designs, the 8 slot item holder is just a placement, how Link travel between Hyrule and Skyloft will be revealed soon (and sorry no, it won’t involve Epona as a Pegasus) and confirms yet again SS takes place before Ocarina of Time.

What?
It means there could be more than 8 items in the game, in the demo there were only 8 slots, 5 useable items and 3 question marks, so people got worried.
It doesn't mean Epona isn't in the game, just that she isn't a pegasus.
