I've been writing guides and stuff around here for a while regarding a CFW-only solution, but I accidentally updated to 9.6 due a mistake and I've finally decided to get a Sky3DS. I've googled around and only found scattered/outdated information on all of this header business. Would anyone be willing to answer my questions? Thanks!
1. Because Nintendo could ban all of the same header, you are encouraged to not use public headers. Is this correct?
2. So people usually dump their private headers from their own games. How would I do this? I don't have Gateway, but I do have access to a 4.5 system (not mine, a friends). I think you can dump using GW's Launcher.dat, but does this require the card?
3. Once I've dumped the ROM, I can use the header for all of my games, correct? As long as no two headers are online at the same time, I could use a header for any game I have on the chip, right?
