That is a github release, not a scene release. And it includes many, many warnings about bricks because of the nature of the coding. There is a newer version by steveice10 that writes data in a safer way to help lessen the effects of bricks. Please do not spread this version around at this moment because too many people are using it incorrectly and damaging their systems.

where is that new version???

Hi, after trying to downgrade (pressing y button on the new version of sysUpdater) appears this:

Getting CIA file informations...

titleException:
main.cpp:108: Resukt: 0xD900182F
Failed to get CIA file info!

Any solution? I'm on ironhax because ironhax works to downgrade the 3dsxl of my brother...

are you updating using N3ds? try 9.0 might work :)

Omfg. This is what Steveice10 tried to stop bricks with. Because it's an UNOFFICIAL release. Look at the last commit..
Code:
+Copyright (C) 2015 Jason Dellaluce, Steveice10 for part of his code
..then gtfo

Why are you all fanboys of JustPingo and Steveice10? It's really annoying

Again, a github release that wasn't taken to the public as a scene release. Here's the steveice10 version on his fork, which should be brought into the main fork proudly within the next day. Note that this is also only a github release, but its the one with a few extra premeasures to help prevent full bricks. Notes, github source and Dropbox are below. There aren't any reports of bricks caused by this version with an exception from user error, but still be careful. People making user errors, don't usually figure out it was their fault until its too late. Be safe guys!

If anyone would like to test something, I have made some modifications to sysUpdater to hopefully make downgrading more stable. UPDATE: This has been tested, with reports of success. Use at your own risk, however, as always with downgrading.

This contains two primary modifications:
  • Deletes each title before installing its replacement, rather than deleting every title to downgrade before installing anything. This ensures that there won't be a bunch of missing titles if a downgrade fails.

  • When downgrading, installs NATIVE_FIRM after all other titles, rather than before, to ensure that there won't be an older NATIVE_FIRM incompatible with remaining newer titles after a failure.

So the first few pages are about warnings where to look out for. The last few pages are about unofficial releases that are still unstable.

1. Wait a few days until something official has been released?
2. Can some one pm me the CIA site/CIA for the European version of the O3DS? (That actually works)
3. Guess I will go to the shop to buy a bigger SD Card ^__^ 4GB will be a little small I guess with 1GB-2GB already taken.

Did 15tries so far....everytime i start the sysupdate, the text looks..broken...any help? :\
