If you've got menuhax setup so it boots the HBL automatically, hold down the buttons you assigned to prevent it from doing so.

Found the problem, I fucking hate myself for being so stupid, haha. Used n3ds 9.2 cia files instead of o3ds 9.2 cia files. I deserve everything.

*While turning the 3DS on.

If your fingers aren't on the appropriate buttons while pressing the power button it won't work.

If you press the power, then press the buttons, it won't work.

You can install CFWs once downgraded as of about 5 hours ago. Make sure you're using the latest sysupdater version.

For downloading the 10.3 update files? Yes.

For downloading anything below 10.3? No.

I did. It just straight up didn't work.

If anyone would like to test something, I have made some modifications to sysUpdater to hopefully make downgrading more stable. UPDATE: This has been tested, with reports of success. Use at your own risk, however, as always with downgrading.

This contains two primary modifications:
  • Deletes each title before installing its replacement, rather than deleting every title to downgrade before installing anything. This ensures that there won't be a bunch of missing titles if a downgrade fails.
  • When downgrading, installs NATIVE_FIRM after all other titles, rather than before, to ensure that there won't be an older NATIVE_FIRM incompatible with remaining newer titles after a failure.

ONLY TRY THIS IF YOU HAVE A HARDMOD!

I have made some modifications to sysUpdater to hopefully make downgrading more stable. This is untested, hence why I only recommend trying it to those with a hardmod.

I updated back to 10.3 again, so I will wait for results first. Thanks for posting this @Steveice10, I've been trying to install CFW for 4 hours XP

One thing at a time. :P
I'm in no rush I have a hard modded N3DSXL was just wondering it it was in the works or not also thank you for your hard work BTW.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

so i'm loosing my ironhax after downgrading?
You won't need ironhax you can use homemenuhax and auto boot rxTools.

Using the latest tuxsh build from several hours ago, I successfully setup emunand as well as setup rxtools and booted into it just fine. About to install my CIA games now(I own all the pokemon games, just don't want to carry around the cartridges all the time.)
