I tried this and got stuck on getting cia informations. It took a very long time. I forced a shutdown and now my console won't boot. The blue light turns on but not the yellow light. The orange charger light works too. Is it dead?

'Successfully' installed all CIAs earlier then when it went to countdown to reboot the o3ds errored and force shutdown

Easily fixed by recovery mode but I guess I'll wait a few days if need be

Open an 3ds app (music) and close it if you are using browserhax use it as normal but for menu hax while in the app hold power button then hold L while returning to home. It's probably easier to just use another method like iron hax.

Check for recovery mode usability
Does LRUpA power button work when turning it on?

I got it to "install" and reboot. I now have the same issue. No luck with recovery for me though.

- omg finally got it to work, been working on this for freaking hours..

Turn on 3ds, Turn it off, turn on while holding L to boot into menuhax, as soon as homebrew channel shows up turn on wifi, load up sysupdate app.. bam!!!

Successful downgrade from 10.3 to 9.2 O3DS..

Will be downgrading to 4.5 using Gateway.. will update with results!

And downgrading from 10.3 to 9.2 to 4.5 has been successful!

Installed Emunand 10.3 using gateway, with be installing RXtools CFW to finish!!! Epic week for the scene.. Just amazing.... From years ago everyone bitching about not being about to do anything, to bitching about trying to get the ish to downgrade

I just want to say that even though I, and quite a few others, we're successful in downgrading with this method. I highly recommend everyone waits until a more stable method is released. Especially if you are a noob or don't fully understand the details of how this works. There is a HUGE risk here. There is currently no way to create a sysnand backup at 9.3 and up, as far as I know, so if you don't have one already not even a hardmod can save you from a brick.

Now if you know what you're doing and are willing to take the risk.. whatever, good luck.

Remove SD card, MenuHax 10.3 is interfering with the 9.2 firmware. Just remove the SD card, and you should be fine.

Menuhax from 10.2/10.3 shouldn't interfere with 9.2 as it relies on the shuffle theme option, which is simply not present on firmwares 9.2 or lower.
It should boot to a default theme with no sign of menuhax anywhere.
If you were on 9.3-10.1 though and had themehax, it may interfere, yes.

How long should it be taking at "Getting CIA file informations..."? I just clicked Y like a minute ago and it's currently at that stage. (N3DS small 10.3 attempting to go to 9.2)

So I removed the battery to restart it, thinking that it hasn't done anything, and lo and behold the eShop and System Settings apps went missing. I got them back through the recovery updater at least.
