Tutorial Simple Guide to Downgrading your 3DS

I think I installed 9.2 o3ds files on an n3ds system as they weren't labeled as either.. anything to help for this?

Some other guy did that and he's listed as bricked.

Wow, i downgraded, it said rebooting. It rebooted to a black screen, I rebooted again, another one, tried recovery mode, no dice. I was about to throw my 3DS, because I figured brick. I took out the SD, and the home menu booted up. Hurray, 9.2, sadly only 4gb SD card!

Time to buy a new bigger SD card! That black screen was fucking mean!

Just ripped out the SD card, turned my 3DS back on, and it worked.

Yessss finallyyyyyy im on 9.2, keep trying and trying all day, old 3ds eur 10.3 i use 9.2.0-20E(Full) cias, i also use (to trigger the hax) the system settings method (enter system settings and exit the press L button to trigger the hax) , i open the sysupdater app press Y and everithing goes fine (no black screen ), sorry for my english im from ARGENTINA CARAJOOOO, im so happy.

How long should it be taking at "Getting CIA file informations..."? I just clicked Y like a minute ago and it's currently at that stage. (N3DS small 10.3 attempting to go to 9.2)

I got the update to install but after the reboot attempt my N3DSXL is bricked. I'm trying to boot into recovery mode but nothing comes up (I can do it on my original models). How screwed am I?
