Wait wait, I realized I infact have HomeMenuHax 2.0 as I'm using a custom theme along with the ability to boot the HBL, is there anything newer?

May I suggest that you install menuhax again using the manager?

I'm only saying that because I saw a similar error that got solved after that.

Well, that's what I'm going to do if I didn't get it fixed today. I probably won't have time the next days and Nintendo can bring an update at any time.

I just don't know if I have to update first or if I could just run sysUpdater again on my already downgraded system to try "fixing" the problem.

Simply change your theme to a new one.

I managed to downgrade my 3DS to 9.2. Now I'm doing the 9.2 - 4.5 downgrade. Hopefully it will work. Last time I tried it with this system, back when it was 9.2, I couldn't seem to get the CFW to install after getting to 4.5. It's handy having a spare system to use for this stuff.


EDIT: I'm now on 4.5.0–8E. Hopefully I can get some CFW stuff working.

I fucked up majorly by downgrading regular 3DS XL with New 3DS files. Fuck, whan an idiot I am. No NAND dump either.

I wouldn't do that. You'd have to change the whole motherboard.

so... sorry for the ubern00b questions but i've only just entered the 3ds eco with the animal crossing n3ds. but after downgrading to 9.2 and getting rxtools, will you then be able to run backups? or will i still need to get my hands on a gateway/cubic ninja?

I want 4.5 so that I can install a CFW. I'm using a tutorial from last January that I remember using a while ago.
