Hacking Should I update or switch to USB loader to fix 002 error?

Hi everyone,
It's been a while... I've been running noobwarrior7's 3 in one pack for backups for months now. I mainly use WiiGator 0.3 until recently been getting the 002 errors. Been reading in circles all day on fixes, etc. What are my options as far as installing a fix or newer loader? Will I have to completely erase the loaders on the wii now and start fresh?
Also, I see many going with usb loaders lately. Are there any other benefits (speed?) besides not having to waste discs?

Not sure about the backup loaders through discs since I haven't used them in so long and never had any 002 errors. As for the USB Loaders they are faster than the 3x speed you get with discs and can easily fix 002 errors.

Thanks.. If I decide to go with the usb loader will I have to uninstall the backup loaders already on the wii?

no. Not unless you want to.

no you can have multiple loaders. i use usb gx, modchip and gecko os.

If you want to stick to disc loaders, WiiPower's NeoGamma would be your best option. He applies any and all fixes pretty quickly.
