A. I'd say sell it a little above Refirbished store price. (maybe $10 or $20)
B. There are only 19 games listed. Sorry, this was from your other thread.
C. Are you seriously selling backups? Wow...

Maybe you should use Craigslist.

I agree. A lot of people will see "120 used Wii with games"

:Contact me first:

and just leave. You won't get a good price for it.

I agree, Craigslist is a better option. Just know that they might take down your auction too (less of a chance, though).

Aus Craigslist is shit. Barely anyone uses it. There are better local services around.

Anyway, isn't it pretty much illegal to sell backups anyway? OP if you publicly list that you're selling them, then you could probably face some sort of fine or something.

Your best bet is to sell your Wii without backup games and no mentioning of modchip. Selling it with backup can get you into serious trouble. Some people don't know about modchip so you may scare away some buyers.

Exactly, that's why we suggested Craigslist.

Heh, guess OP is so out of luck then. xD If only Aus craigslist was popular. I'm sure someone browsing it may be interested though.

That's basically $200 AUD. A few dollars more but pretty much $200. To me that seems too much for a second hand console with no games and the Wii is pretty old.

The backups are worth absolutely nothing and a Wii comes with at least one Wiimote, nunchuck and the stand. So... what you are really selling is:

Wii w/ unknown chip and accessories (controller/nunchuck/stand/cables)
1 extra Wiimote and nunchuck (Wiimote always has the lights on for some reason)
2 Gamecube controllers
2 memory cards (8mb, 16 mb)

I'd ask for no more than $160.

If your Wii is in excellent condition (very close to like new), then USD $160~$170 is a nice price given that you throw four controllers in there.

Honestly, stop selling backup games. Selling backup games (especially when you consider them a price factor) is a fraud. Essentially you cheated on your buyer.

Do you think he cares or that matters? What matters is how much he gets as a bundle, he's not selling the game as much as he is the convenience of not having to download them, the typical person hacking it themselves doesn't know (yet) how to download games easily, and there's also no guarantee they have good internet, if they're in Australia, paying `per` stuff downloaded, those games are suddenly worth quite a bit more than 'nothing', they're worth at minimum the price of the data used to download them.

Now with that said, I don't see why you're using backup discs in the first place, it's terrible, but if you are, whatever, go ahead and sell them but instead of using today's buzzwords like backups and such just say bootleg. You should consider the price pretty decently although realistically hardmod doesn't add much value IMO when you can just as easily softmod, but since your target audience are people who don't know, consider it like you're selling the following:

A premodded console: Saving them tons of time, most of the guides are too much for someone without experience modding to understand, I've sent the links via email to a few people and ended up having to write an accompiment to make it simpler to understand because the guides are just too "LOLWUT" you're saving them a bunch of time, and the novelty of not having to sift through shit and remember tuff you don't care about, all they have to do is download games, and play them, occasionally update (which is easier than the original modding ; I'm not sure how that flows with hardmodded though)

The peripherals: No gain here for the standard ones, since they'd come with the console, but I would take off from the price if you didn't offer them (I for example have 2 Wiis, the second doesn't have the cables ; I'd charge less due to lack of cables)

Gamecube Stuff: To be honest, I doubt anyone will be interested in this at all, most of the people who don't already have a Wii or a gamecube probably don't care about gamecube games/controllers since they could get a gamecube for probably $20-50

Games: Read #1, it saves them some time, if you're in a place that pays per bandwidth the price of that is added. The convenience of having some good games to start with also adds a lot, problem is the games you're 'selling' with it aren't SO great, they're pretty average. Where are your Mario sports titles? Mario Galaxy1/2, Kirby's Epic Yarn, etc. The titles you have are those that most people haven't heard of, others don't care about. (Wii Music is so shitty I almost cried).

Anyways, I'd say in total you should go somewhere like $5-50 above the retail price, if you get no hits after a few weeks, lower it to retail price (for the system).
