Hello, I have an unpatched Switch that I use a lot. Maybe too much ...
I play several hours a day and it remains in sleep mode most of the time and I'm afraid that in the near future, it eventually wear and break. Unpatched Switch are rare and I'm afraid it happens.
you think I'm right to be scared where I make it bad for nothing?
What is the life time of a Switch in your opinion?

Why do you buy a console only to be afraid of it breaking because you play too much? My PS2 from almost 20 years ago still works to this day. My FAT PS3 still works to this date even though these models are the ones that break the easiest.

None of which have a screen, built in battery, etc

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
